Intrepid reporter Tintin and Captain Haddock set off on a treasure hunt for a
sunken ship commanded by Haddock's ancestor. Dehydrated in the heat, and
suffering from a sudden lack of alcohol, Haddock hallucinates, and starts to
remember stories about his ancestor, Sir Francis Haddock (Andy Serkis), who was
captain of the Unicorn during the 17th century. Sir Francis' treasure-laden
ship was attacked by a pirate ship, led by the masked Red Rackham (Daniel
Craig), and, after a fierce battle and eventual surrender, Sir Francis chose to
sink the Unicorn, and most of the treasure, rather than allow it to fall into
Rackham's hands. It transpires that there were three models of the Unicorn,
each containing a scroll. Together, the scrolls will reveal the location of the
sunken Unicorn, and its treasure. Having bought a model ship, the Unicorn, for
a pound off a market stall Tintin is initially puzzled that the sinister Mr.
Sakharine should be so eager to buy it from him, resorting to murder and
kidnapping Tintin - accompanied by his marvellous dog Snowy - to join him and
his gang as they sail to Morocco on an old cargo ship. Sakharine
has bribed the crew to revolt against the ship's master, drunken Captain
Haddock, but Tintin, Snowy and Haddock escape, arriving in Morocco at the court of a sheikh, who also
has a model of the Unicorn. Haddock tells Tintin that over three hundred years
earlier his ancestor Sir Francis Haddock was forced to scuttle the original
Unicorn when attacked by a piratical forebear of Sakharine but he managed to
save his treasure and provide clues to its location in three separate scrolls,
all of which were secreted in models of the Unicorn. Tintin and Sakharine...

Storyline:
A shipwreck is discovered off the coast of Wales by a team of archaeologists and
divers. Could it be one of Ben Franklin's Revolutionary Pirate Fleet? In the
late 18th Century, privateers were ships commissioned by governments to
pillage, steal and burn merchant vessels. But few people know during the
Revolutionary war one band of privateers were sailed directly under the orders
of one of our greatest statesmen: Benjamin Franklin. In "Ben Franklin's
Pirate Fleet," viewers will dive into the Irish Sea with a group of underwater
explorer on an expedition to investigate this piece of little known American
history. A lost piece of American history may have been uncovered deep in the
sea a shipwreck thought to have belonged to a fleet of American privateers. In
the late 18th century, the Irish Sea was a cauldron of kidnapping, thievery and unrepentant
skullduggery. Governments, including the nascent U.S., hired sea raiders, or privateers,
to pillage and steal from merchant vessels. Is it possible that this ship was

Storyline:
Pirates of the Caribbean: Tales of the Code: Wedlocked was
a short film based on the Pirates of the Caribbean film series as the prequel to The
Curse of the Black Pearl. The plot took inspiration from the "Auction
scene" from the original ride. The short film stars John Vickery
(Auctioneer), Vanessa Branch (Giselle), and Lauren Maher (Scarlett). It was
directed by James Ward Byrkit, produced by Leora Glass, and written by Ted
Elliott and Terry Rossio. "Wedlocked" was a labor of love, a short
film I directed especially for super-fans of the "Pirates" movies.
Knowing we had a small budget and borrowed sets, Terry Rossio and Ted Elliott
wrote a script for me that recalled the Pirates ride more than the movies.
'Slappers" Vanessa Branch and Lauren Maher turned in leading lady
performances that should get them their own tv spinoff.
